This last week I went to a conference called Catalyst West Coast. It was a great time to get away with the team leaders from Timberlake to be renewed, refreshed and consider our next steps as a church. God, (and the speakers), taught me quite a bit, here is some of what stuck out to me about church and leadership
- In times of uncertainty, retreat to the vision (Andy Stanley)
- Numbers matter, because they represent people who matter (Rick Warren)
- People want to join a big mission. – (Craig Groschel)
- If you try to create something that appeals to everyone, you will end up with mediocrity -(Guy Kawasaki)
- Only when we surrender do we experience the supernatural – (Perry Noble via Tony Morgan)
My Prayer – Thank you God for the hundreds of lives that have been changed at Timberlake and Lord give us enough faith, courage and conviction to reach thousands more for your only Your glory. Amen.

Fantastic! Thank you for your investment in us and Christ’s Commission for us. Prayers for your (and Timberlake’s) protection and perseverance and effectiveness. Prayers for hearts which live out, “He must become greater; I must become less.” (John 3:30).
Ben, im great to see your church growing. Come down to Eastlake one of these days and visit us, we miss you.
