Thursday night my wife and I went to have Pizza at the Northlake Tavern in Seattle. If you are not from Seattle this need to be on your “must visit” list. It is a hole in the wall with arguably the best pizza in the city.
Although I didn’t have a drink I was hoping to at least get carded. (Funny how that use to be a bad thing and now it’s a compliment.) Not only did I not get carded, even worse the server kept on calling me sir.
Well just as I was feeling old I went further down memory lane as it was UW Husky hall of fame night. It was fun as we saw some old UW football greats such as Sonny Sixkiller (and considering how the UW football team is doing this year, sometimes it feels better to look back than ahead.)
I am reminded that God always moves out front. God was present in the past, but is leading us towards the future. My wife and I feel like God has blessed us with a great past in ministry, yet it is amazing how we are seeing him lead us into even more fruitful ministry that we could have imagined as we move into the future at Timberlake.

Dear Ben;
Northlake Tavern is “not” the best pizza in town. Amante’s Pizza is the very best. http://www.amantesppizzaandpasta.com
