The Election

I am not a cynic when it comes to politics. I believe that our vote matters and it matters for whom you vote. I have heard many say, “it does not matter who you vote for as long as you vote.” I don’t agree with that completely.

I think it is important to know where we stand on a whole host of issues from taxes, to abortion, education, to the war, to the role of judges, to trade, etc. and then vote. We also would do well to remember that there is more than a presidential election and to do a bit of homework on the other candidates and issues as well.

It is an interesting season for our nation in many ways. I hope, (if you have done your homework), you will vote on Nov. 4th.

It is a profound privilege to (do the homework & the praying &) vote. Yea Jesus some more. Thanks for the reminder, Pastor Ben. God bless us – every one.
