This Saturday is my wife’s birthday. Help! As a result of our recent move, everything going on at church, the election and the current national economic crises I am yet to buy her a present. I am open to suggestions. My very life depends on it.
Also you can feel free to give her (Terri) a birthday greeting, if you have her e-mail address send it to her or you can send it to me and I will pass it on.

Hi Ben,
First off, glad you’re here in the Northwest. Second, thanks for the boxes as we get ready to head out to Wisconsin.
My birthday is also on Saturday. My husband is a genius and tends to get me purses and shoes for gifts. It’s a very very smart thing. He’s got great taste, so it’s always something pretty :)
Hope that helps – MP
My husband is a genius too. I ESPECIALLY liked the Miata he bought me last year. Fortunately for me, cars are his “love language.” I think Terri should have one too! (In the meantime, I’ll say the “shopping prayer” for you. Also, think about a gift certificate to Bel Viso Day Spa – 2830 228th Ave SE # F; Sammamish, WA 98075; (425) 557-1584)
Ben.. get her a puppy.. like a cocker spaniel. Great non shedding lover / lap dogs or .. Take her out to dinner at Seastar. Amazing food esp the sushi and salmon or… Take her on a short 1-2 trip to Vancouver.. Gas Town.. and Stanley Park. just a few quick ideas.. :}
Hi Ben,
We miss you here in San Diego, looking forward to your next visit at ECC.
Now, for you wife. My husband and I have been married for awhile so gifts can be a challenge. The one that left the most meaning for me was a love letter that he placed in a cloth gift bag. He was very thoughtful and touched my heart with his words. I still have it tucked away. I’d also have to second the day spa, or gift certificate at a nail/hair place.
Take her to SB for the weekend!
Hey Ben, I met you at Eastlake. My husband is sorry to have heard you left before he got back.
As for your Wife’s birthday, I would say do what my husband does, get her a gift card to her favorite store and let her pick out her gift. OR get a sitter for the night and take her out for a romantic dinner at her favorite restaurant!
Jamie Blase. Chula Vista california!
Ben you’re killing me over here. What did you get your lovely bride? If you did find something great. Maybe next year a possible gift would be a trip to Christian writing conference. I know Terri enjoys writing, she may want to expand on this talent God has given her.
