This weekend will be my last time speaking as Co-Pastor at EastLake Church. Still, my hope is that I get invited back for guest speaking gigs in months like January and February. (I know that hint was not that subtle).
This weekend I am speaking on “What I want my kids to know about following God.” I encourage you to come and to bring a friend as we look at the “Cliff Notes” of Faith.
As a parent and as a pastor, I have the same responsibility and it is this – to faithfully convey my knowledge and experience of God. (Acts 1:8) That is what I am going to do my best to do this weekend.

Ben, I’m so glad I checked out your blog today. We are from TLCF and are going to vacation in Southern California next week. I was looking forward to hearing you preach one last time in Chula Vista. We’ll be back home in time for your inaugural service in Redmond on the 17th. I will have hypumone until then. Shamu and Mickey here we come.
