I hate to admit that I am a professional worrier when it comes to my kids. My guess is I’m not alone…. Here’s the problem with worry, short of giving you ulcers, worry doesn’t do much for us. I also know that God has a better, faith-filled way to raise kids.
This weekend at EastLake Church I am kicking off a new message series called “Parental Guidance Required”. In this series we’ll look at God’s wisdom for families…and especially us worrying types. My hope is that as we look into God’s Word we’ll find less stress and more success in helping our kids navigate life.

Ben, I am going to miss you. The first time I ever attended Eastlake you were preaching (if you could call it that!!! ) and it was you and Rusty who made “that” impact on me.
You have been a great source of guidance and encouragement to me. I want to say Thank You. I wish you all the success in your new church, leading many many new people to Christ thru your humor, caring and leadership.
You have been a great asset to Eastlake. Thank you for being so quick to respond to my emails and requests for prayers. God bless you and your new congregation. They are very lucky to have you as a pastor!
