I am both excited and sad. I am excited that I am going to a great church, Timberlake Christian Fellowship in Redmond, Wa to serve as their Lead Pastor. This is a church with a rich history of having a significant impact for Jesus Christ. The people I have met there are wonderful and have big hearts for Jesus and a desire to see people reached with the Gospel.
That being said, I am also sad. I am sad that I am leaving my incredible church family at EastLake Church. I know this is God’s timing in my life to make this move, but I will really miss all of you greatly (and I am not just talking about the Starbucks cards during Christmas.)
Here is the good news in all of this. God’s timing is perfect. He is the one who laid out this path for these two great churches. I am going to write more about this in the days ahead and would appreciate your prayers as we try to sell a home, find a home and as we journey on our next right step.

Congratulations on your new opportunity. Your insights, teaching, and friendship will be missed. It’s definitely a happy/sad time. I’m confident that the Lord will bless your time in Redmond in amazing ways.
I must say that I know first hand that Timberlake needs you & is ready for what God wants to do with you there. I grew up in that Church and they have a place for you and I am excited to come visit. Ben, I am going to miss you. The first time I ever attended Eastlake you were preaching (if you could call it that!!! ) and it was you and Rusty who made “that” impact on me.
You have been a great source of guidance and encouragement to me. I want to say Thank You. I wish you all the success in your new church, leading many many new people to Christ thru your humor, caring and leadership.
You have been a great asset to Eastlake. Thank you for being so quick to respond to my emails and requests for prayers. God bless you and your new congregation. They are very lucky to have you as a pastor!

You married Ambar and I, baptized me and God worked thru you to affirm the mission he had placed in my heart! Your impact on my spiritual life in these short years of knowing one another has been to say the least amazing.
I cannot begin to put in words the effect your preaching has inspired me. I can only pray that the Lord use me the way he has used you to move not only me but I am sure hundreds of others closer to him.
I pray the Lord continue to bless you and your family and that he work thru you at TCF the same way he did at ECC!!!
