I am in the midst of my sabbatical given to me by the elders at Eastlake Community Church for my years of service. Mike, who is the lead pastor took his last fall, and now it is my turn. My only assignment is to “refresh and relax.” This means that I am suppose to basically “do nothing” – something which I do very well.
I may be posting a lot during this time or not at all. However, I do look forward to what God has to teach me during this time and the opportunity to share it with you when I am back in Chula Vista on July 18th.

You’ll be missed at EastLake. But, you definitely deserve time away to refresh and reflect on what the Lord has in store for you and your family.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! 6 weeks, the Biblical 40 days plus a couple. Enjoy it and you will be missed!
We miss you! Take this time to enjoy your family, recharge and rest. You get to take advantage of the beautiful So Cal summer…lucky you. I promise the Diet Pepsi will be restocked upon your arrival back at work :)
