I have been to a lot of conferences, yet the one I just finished today was surprisingly inspiring. The conference was about churches who operate in multiple venues (not a topic that excites many people) http://www.multisiteexposed.com/. I thought I might learn some how to’s, hear some great stories and get some more insight as to what what God has called us to do in expanding our outreach at Eastlake Church. What I received was a lot more.
In this conference, the real emphasis was keeping our passion for those who are far from God front and center. This is a message that is not new to me, yet through the great teaching and interaction with other leaders and powerful worship, was once again renewed in me to even a greater measure.

ECC is the only christian church I have ever really attended and love the mission.
I have talked to old school christian who’s churches haven’t grown in 10 years, except thru birth’s or marriage.
Or those who start a church and are basically catering to recycled christians (christians who like moving from church to church).
When I bring up the issue of new Christ followers I get the impression that it’s not top priority.
It almost like new christians would be too much work!
I’m excited to see what God will do thru ECC when it branches out…. lot’s of possibilities!!!
